Background:

BVSS NPCC Unit was formed in 1986 when the school first started. Over the years, BVSS NPCC unit has slowly made its progress and is becoming one of the most popular CCA in the school. Currently, we have five teacher officers who are very delicate in the unit. We participated in competitions like the campcraft competitions, shooting competition and the others inter-unit competition.

Weekly Trainings:

There are weekly trainings conducted on Wednesdays from 3.00pm to 6.00pm. Cadets involved in remedial programmes will report for training after their remedial programme at 3pm.

Camps 2009:

1. Secondary One Orientation camp for the new cadets in May 2010. This camp is organised by Secondary 3 cadets
2. BVSS Annual Camp 2009 for Secondary 1 to 5 cadets (26th to 28th March 2010)
   
3. Adventure Training Camp (ATC) for Secondary 2 and 3 cadets (17th to 19th September 2010)

The camps are held to build up teamwork and leadership in our cadets and train them to be independent, resilient and responsible. These camps also foster bonding between the cadets through games and activities. Most important of all, the camps do make them love NPCC!

Achievements:

Congratulations to Bukit View Secondary NPCC Unit for clinching the SILVER AWARD for the Year 2008 when the Unit Overall Proficiency Award (UOPA) results were released in Feb 2009.

We would like to commend all cadets who have worked very hard to get the award. We would also like to thank all others who had helped BVSS NPCC Unit in one way or another. Your support is greatly appreciated!
