ART : An Overview

Art as a subject is no longer just about acquiring technical competencies. At Bukit View, we hope to entice, inspire and imbue in our students that artmaking processes and skills acquired at the Lower Secondary levels will be relevant, meaningful and applicable across disciplines. 

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquire Visual & Media Literacy through ARTMAKING & ART DISCUSSIONS

1. Visual Literacy: the ability to apply the visual language as an expressive tool for communication

2. Media Literacy: to analyze, evaluate and create messages in a wide variety of media modes, genres and forms

To develop an appreciation of art where students will learn about the wider contexts of Art, and its influence and impact.
